Finish the barn

We have worked so hard to complete the barn with our monies raised, but we are coming up short! Unfortunately, both labor and materials have gone up since we started this project. We started with $160,000 and are sooo close to finishing. The outside finish will be complete, electrical and ac complete, we will be short on monies for the foam insulation, wall board, concrete ramp, side stairs and deck, concrete floors finish out, appliances, light fixtures, and any other miscellaneous we encounter! The dollar amount may be a little high, but we would rather be prepared.

We have been so blessed with donated time for guidance and services. Phil Bitner got us over all the hurdles of dealing with city requirements! (a total nightmare!!) Brian Lutje has been by our side to oversee contractors making sure it is done right! Neale Mobley has stopped by daily to make sure we have the best subcontractors at the best price, often negotiating for us. We couldn't of done it without these three men.

The kids are out daily cleaning up the site and taking ownership in their new building! The excitement grows daily!!
